Promoting equitable partnerships at the Global Impact Conference 2025

We were privileged to present our session on Inclusive Education Abroad in Tanzania at the Global Impact Conference (GIC) in November in Minneapolis, USA.

Our engaging, interactive session explored how inclusive experiential learning in African contexts challenge dominant narratives and how best to advance equity in global education. We were joined virtually by our co-presenter Juliana Shem from the Tanzania Centre for Development Cooperation, who shared African perspective and extensive experience hosting US programs and students in Tanzania.

Through case studies, dialogue, and reflection, we highlighted locally driven programs, equitable partnerships, and inclusive pedagogical practices — all aimed at fostering global career success for diverse learners.

Reimagine what inclusive, transformative global education can be.
